i’m not sure how this happened. it sort of snuck up on me and i find myself hoping that your name will be there when my phone rings, that i’ll bump into you when i turn the corner, that we’ll cross paths during the day. when i talk to you, i’m not sure what to do. my emotions seem to rush at me when i’m with you. if i had any courage, i would just tell you that i think you’re amazing and i’d like to show you this secret place i know, i want to show you my art, i want to write you songs, poetry. i wish i could tell you that you make my heart jump, and my stomach does flips around you. for now, i’ll enjoy your company and hope that someday, you’ll feel the same way.
